About Sesa Studios

Sesa Studios was born from friendship and fashion, driven by a desire to create timeless bags with unexpected pops of colour, designed to complement any outfit. The name Sesa comes from our initials, Stevenson and Schapel. What began as a moment of inspiration on a trip evolved into a collaboration built on trust, mentorship, and a love for fashion. This was made possible by my partner’s encouragement and support, which gave me the confidence to take the leap and propose the idea to my boss, Emma Stevenson.

With over 16 years of experience in fashion, Emma Stevenson’s guidance gave Sesa Studios its foundation and confidence.

Each piece is designed on the Gold Coast and handcrafted in Indonesia by skilled artisans using A-grade leather, suede, and premium cowhide. Our designs are vintage-inspired with a modern edge, minimal, intentional, and made to be worn effortlessly.

Produced in small, curated capsules, no pieces are the same. Natural variations in leather and suede ensure each bag carries its own unique character.

Rooted in slow fashion, Sesa Studios values craftsmanship, longevity, and quiet luxury designed with intention and made to last.
